These terms are separate from any written service agreement you sign with us when we are appointed to arrange a funeral. Where the two differ, the signed service agreement controls the funeral arrangements; these terms continue to cover your use of the website.

Morgan's Funeral Home is a family-owned funeral service provider based at Wellington Street, Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Morgan's Funeral Home. “You” refers to any visitor to our website.

Using This Website

You may use this website to learn about our services, view obituaries and tributes, submit enquiries, complete intake forms, leave condolence messages, and upload photographs in accordance with these terms. When you use the website, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information when you complete a form, submit an obituary, or contact us;
  • use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the families we serve;
  • not attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorised access to the website or any system connected to it;
  • not impersonate another person, or post content under a false identity, in obituaries, tributes, guestbook entries, or any other form;
  • not use the website to send unsolicited commercial messages or to scrape content for marketing purposes.

Enquiries Are Not Contracts for Service

Information on this website — including service descriptions, casket listings, and indicative timeframes — is provided in good faith to help you understand what is possible. It does not, on its own, form a contract for funeral services.

When you submit a service enquiry, family intake form, or contact form, you are letting us know how to reach you and giving us a starting point for the conversation. A formal contract for funeral services is created only when we meet with you (in person, by phone, or online) and you sign or otherwise expressly accept a written service agreement with us. Pricing, availability, and the final scope of services are confirmed in that agreement.

Obituaries, Tributes, and Guestbook Entries

We are honoured to share obituaries, tributes, and photographs of the loved ones our families entrust to us. When you submit content for publication on this website, you confirm that:

  • you have the right to submit the content and to allow us to publish it — including any photographs, written tributes, and biographical details;
  • where the content relates to a deceased person, the family or another authorised representative has approved its publication;
  • the content is truthful to the best of your knowledge, and is respectful in tone;
  • the content does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy, or other rights, and is not unlawful or defamatory.

By submitting content, you grant Morgan's Funeral Home a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and reproduce that content for the purpose of commemorating your loved one, sharing the obituary or service notice, and operating this website. You can ask us to remove or update content at any time.

All public submissions — including guestbook entries and tributes from members of the public — are moderated before they appear. We reserve the right to decline or remove any entry that is disrespectful, unlawful, or that the bereaved family asks us to remove. We are not obliged to publish every submission we receive.

Casket Selection and Other Listings

Caskets, urns, and additional service options are displayed for guidance. Photographs are representative; actual finishes, hardware, and interior fabric may vary slightly between batches. Availability and pricing are confirmed at the time of arrangement, and we will always discuss alternatives with you if your preferred selection is not available.

Our Intellectual Property

The Morgan's Funeral Home name, logo, and the original content on this website — including page text, layout, photography taken by us, and graphics — belong to Morgan's Funeral Home or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use (for example, to print an obituary or order of service). You may not copy or reproduce material from this website for commercial purposes without our written permission.
