History

Serving your family at its most difficult time has been a tradition with the Morgan family since the 1970s. At that time, George D. Morgan and his wife Rosa founded Morgan’s Funeral Home on Wellington Street in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

After Rosa retired, George Morgan together with his son, Carl continued to operate the funeral home until George’s untimely death in 2003. Carl and his wife, Jacqueline set out on a mission to further his father’s vision.

As the years passed, and the need for our services in the community increased the building has been remodeled and redecorated in order to continue to provide the highest quality service. Morgan’s Funeral Home has been sought out by families for its fine facility and attentive service.

Carl’s youngest daughter, Martina has pursued a degree in Mortuary Science and she intends to uphold the vision that was set by her grandfather; serve families with personal, compassionate service that meet their individual needs.

Throughout the changes that have taken place at Morgan’s the core values of the business remain the same and with this Morgan’s has gained many accolades.  Morgan’s Funeral Home has been serving families for over thirty five years and continues to do so with quality and care.
